Kick Away Cancer!
A partnership worth celebrating.
To celebrate 70 years in the community, Caboto Soccer is teaming up with Play For a Cure to raise money for Cancer Research.
Play For A Cure is an organization that raises money through team sport. All proceeds raised go to support local collaborative cancer research – initiatives that will help create better outcomes for our cancer patients.
‘Play For A Cure’ is the fundraising arm of the Cancer Research Collaboration Fund, which was established in partnership with the Windsor Essex Community Foundation, which holds the funds and issues the charitable tax receipts.
Fundraising Campaign Details
Between August 6 – 22, Caboto Soccer will be running a fundraising campaign. The campaign is in support of the Cancer Research Collaboration Fund. Players from all the Caboto teams are asked to collect donations in support of this local charity. All participants have an opportunity to win some great prizes for their efforts.
Fundraising will begin August 6th and the online donations will end on August 29th. All pledge sheets must be handed in on the date that the player is instructed to by their coach; which will be during the PLAY FOR A CURE week of games from August 23rd to the 29th.
Prize winners will be announced the following week.
